Hey, I just figured out that a facebook site uses manipulations but they dont give credits to the manipulators! (they also use photos from my main account without credits). Please take a look:

RE: Kaschill7---

(Yes, very mature to block me so that I cannot continue the discussion; you are going against your own argument that you are simply trying to have a civil discussion. Please, allow me to continue explaining my point.)

No, in my opinion, you aren't. Why? Because you aren't reproducing the dress or its design. Is this the same as what has happened with Facebook? No. Why? Because images are intangible (unless you print them out, which would be even worse), so reproducing or reposting the image is stealing because, by reproducing a digital copy or reposting it, you are stealing that image, its concept, and its design.

oh a bunch of people keep responding to it yelling and calling me stupid and putting words in my mouth, i'm tired of it. i just wanted to give my point of view and maybe calmly share ideas but they just attack me, it's like salem or the renaissance. i blocked them but they werent taaking the hint they'd just get a friend to say something for them. i didn't get any today but i was for awhile (and maybe even a bit still)afraid i'd be run out of DA!

i already knew about this and really i don't see why it's such a big deal i mean you're putting it out there adn i mean i doubt many people if they see your art in a fb ad will be like wow fb is a good artist! and i mean i doubt anyones gonna copy it from there and its the same overall really as if someone just glimpsed your art while scanning through da, adn now that you know about it you can just i don't know take it off fb? plus i'm pretty sure they have a permission thing set up since i remember be asked if it was ok so really there's more to it than just taking it.

...

People have actually put their time into their artwork. You're basically saying anyone can just take your lollipop because they want to try the flavor. They're not going to tell anyone they got it from a stranger without their permission.

In other words, you're asking why stealing is such a big deal.

In other words (again), you're asking what the big deal is about people taking your artwork and posting it on many different places without you knowing about it.

Again, you're also saying you're fine with people taking your drawing and posting it on their site and thousands of people thinking they made it. No one will know who made it, no one will care. Is that something you think the creator might not make a big deal out of?

no i'm saying that they're not really taking it and why would you want it on their site if you don't like them doing that? i don't think you even really listened to what i said you just got angry and started putting words in my mouth.

You built an amazing invention called the Screwdriver. Without asking your permission, people you don't like, let alone know, take your screwdriver and make copies of it without asking. Some people might even sell it for money. In the end, you don't get the credit for coming up with the awesome invention.

That's not okay, and that is why we created copyright laws. Unlike films, images do not usually come with credits directly on them, so artists have to work even harder so that people know who created it.

Since you haven't noticed, digital and traditional artists have the same copyright laws protecting their work. People aren't allowed to photocopy your drawings, hand them out to people, and say, "Look what I drew!"

If you really think that people don't continue to spread artwork once it's posted elsewhere, then you are even more woefully ignorant on this subject.

but that's not what fb is doing lets say you took a pic of a dress you liked at a store and sent it to a friend, are you claiming it's yours? are you selling the design? are you stealing?

That is just disgusting! Do they think just by putting words on it that it makes it their own?? I am in disgust that people would do such a thing! They could be sued for using others art without their consent.
